As we wrap up School Library Month, I want to share some important information about our local public library!

Shreve Memorial Library is an excellent partner for our school community, providing a card to all Caddo students, pre-K to 12th grade. They have visited our school to pass out books and sign families up for cards.

The public library provides many activities throughout the summer, but one of the best things you can do for your student is make sure they incorporate reading at least 15 minutes a day into their summer fun. Daily reading has been shown to not only improve their reading scores, but also reduce the “summer slide” in all areas of academics.
