Winter Formal Tickets will be on sale Friday morning for $15, cash only. Students will be called to cafeteria to pay during first hour. Tickets will NOT be available for purchase at the door. If student has had discipline issues (any OSS or 3 or more ISS), they will not be able to attend. Concessions will be available for $2 each. A photographer will be at the dance and be selling prints for $5.

💃🕺🎶YDMS Student Council presents "Time to Get Jazzy" Winter Formal. 💃🕺🎶 Friday, December 8th from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and must be purchased on Local Level by Thursday at 8:00 a.m. 🎟️🎟️ https://www.locallevelevents.com/events/org/youree-drive-middle-ap-magnet Grade Level Royalty will be crowned via Quarter Wars and will have the opportunity to ride in the Highland Parade. 👑👑👸🤴 Dress Code: Semi-formal “type” dresses will be permitted, but are not expected. 👗👖👞👠 Girls who don’t prefer dresses are encouraged to wear nice slacks and a shirt/blouse. 👚👖👔 Boys are encouraged to wear a dress shirt and slacks (NO JEANS). 👖👔👞 Suits and ties/bow-ties are encouraged, but not expected. 🤵‍♂️🤵‍♀️ Dress Guidelines: 📏👗👠 Dresses are to be no more than 2 inches above the knee. 👗📏It must also be at the appropriate length even if leggings are worn underneath the dress. Dresses may not be extremely low-cut in the front or back or extremely tight/or form-fitting. 👗🙅‍♀️🙅‍♂️ The following will not be permitted: 🚫🚫🚫 Jeans 👖❌ Stiletto-type heels 👠❌ Two-piece formal gowns or pants and top, where the midriff is showing, NO STRAPLESS DRESSES, dresses with revealing cut-outs, see-through dresses (this includes sheer/mesh overlays that do not have material underneath). 🥫🎉 A huge round of applause to everyone who made the 4-H Northwest Louisiana Food Bank can food drive a smashing success at YDMS! Together, we collected an astounding 2,000+ items, weighing in at 1,874 pounds of nourishment for those in need. A standing ovation to the sixth grade class for securing the coveted canned food drive grade level competition, and a special shoutout to Mrs. Harper's homeroom for championing the collection with the most cans.
